Description: The Governor recommended, and the Legislative Joint Finance Appropriations Committee (JFAC) appropriated, $100,000 of one-time State Directed Opioid Settlement Funds to the Office of Drug Policy (ODP) to support opioid-specific community-based prevention models during State Fiscal Year 2025 (SFY2025). The funds, which will be allocated out across the State to eligible public and non-profit entities through a competitive grant application process, are intended to support the implementation of evidence-based prevention programs in communities to enhance protective factors and promote long-term resiliency in children and youth.

This funding may not be used for substance use treatment or recovery services.
