Funding Opportunity Title: Partnerships for Success – Law Enforcement (PFS-LE) Grant
Description: The PFS-LE funding aims to support law enforcement agencies and public and nonprofit entities with the development of strategies and implementation of effective prevention activities at the state, county, and community-levels. PFS-LE grants will be awarded via a competitive application process, and funding will be awarded to support grant proposals that request funds to address locally identified drug and alcohol-related challenges in five key prevention domains:
- Alcohol misuse & Underage drinking
- Prescription medication misuse
- Illicit opioid use
- Methamphetamine use
- Youth substance use
Total Funding Available: $350,000
Grant Award Period: February 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
Application Submission: Applications must be completed and submitted online via Neighborly, ODP’s grant application and management software. The application is open in Neighborly from 8:00 AM local time on Monday, December 8, 2025 through Monday, January 12, 2026. The PFS-LE Application Guide will walk you through the steps of registering an account and completing the application.
Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants include all law enforcement agencies – including tribal, local, state, and federal entities – and public and nonprofit entities. Federal regulations (Section 90.135, HHS) prohibit the awarding of PFS-LE funds to any entity other than a public or non-profit organization.
Award Information: The FY2026 award period is February 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026. The PFS-LE award funds are provided to grantees on a reimbursement basis. Prevention service(s) provided prior to February 1, 2026 and/or the signing of a grant award document will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Grant awards are contingent upon funds appropriated by federal funding agencies and the Idaho Legislature. Applicants assume all costs associated with the preparation of the grant application.
